Business and Community Start Up and Support

Since 2005 the Trust has provided advice, support and training for people thinking of starting their own business or community group to address specific social issues.

It has also been a platform for enterprise training, creating social entrepreneurs to address local issues and tackle the more difficult aspects of doing things without money.

The majority of its work is helping people through the process of developing a business plan whilst addressing the practicalities of running your own business.

The Trust also provides on-going support during the first year of trading, ensuring the new business is able to cope with the financial pressures and administration that often lead to early closure of businesses.
